Do my files leave my device?
No. These tools process and download files inside this browser. The video engine is downloaded on first use, but your media is not uploaded. Closing or refreshing the page clears the current files and results.
Will compression always make a video smaller?
No. Already optimized videos can become larger when re-encoded. The tool shows the actual result; choose a smaller width or the Smaller file preset to try again.
What format will I get?
The result is an MP4 containing H.264 video and AAC audio when the source has sound. You can also remove audio.
Can I process long videos or 4K footage?
This first version accepts videos up to five minutes, 1080p, and 100 MiB (40 MiB on devices reporting limited memory). Use shorter, smaller sources for reliable browser processing.
