MP3 is a lossy format, so some audio information is discarded. The default 320 kbps setting uses a higher bitrate, but conversion cannot improve the source recording. Keep your original M4A if you need it for future editing.
Use Choose M4A file to select audio from your phone’s file picker. Keep the browser open during conversion. Support depends on your browser’s audio decoder and available memory. If a file cannot be decoded, try an updated browser or a different unprotected M4A.
The audio extension is M4A, not MA4. If you searched for “ma4 to mp3” and your file ends in .m4a, this is the converter you need. Renaming another type of file to .m4a does not convert it.
