What to expect from Image Compressor.
Does image compression upload my original file?
No. Compression happens in your browser. Only the processed result is uploaded if you explicitly save it or open it in a private Studio project.
Will compression change the image dimensions?
No. This tool keeps the original width and height. Use Image Resizer when you need exact pixel dimensions.
Why can a compressed image become larger?
PNG output or a high quality setting can produce a larger file than the source. The result panel shows the real output size before download.
Do I need an account?
