Questions before processing

What to expect from Image Converter.

Which image formats can I convert?

The first release accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP, and exports those same three formats. Animated GIF and HEIC are not supported.

What happens to transparency when converting to JPEG?

JPEG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. Choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency.

Does conversion resize the image?

No. Conversion keeps the source width and height. Use Image Resizer to change pixel dimensions.

Does the source image leave my device?

No. Conversion runs locally. Only the processed result is uploaded when a signed-in user saves it or opens it in a private Studio project.
